(Fargo, ND) — Senator John Hoeven is making sure grants for homeless shelters continue to receive funding. Hoeven was in Fargo on Friday to meet with leaders at the Young Women’s Christian Association in Cass County to make sure the three-point-three million in funding brought in through the “Continuum of Care” program was helping the right people. The money helped support 16-hundred beds for homeless people throughout the state. The CEO of the Cass County Y-W-C-A said Hoeven, “really went to bat for women and children in danger of losing their housing.”
