(Mandan, ND) — A man is in custody in Montana for a March 5th armed robbery in Mandan. Evan Darden of Mandan was identified as a suspect shortly after the robbery last week. Investigators were able to locate Darden with the help of his probation officer who identified him from surveillance footage. Darden was taken into custody by sheriff deputies in Sweet Grass County Montana and is awaiting extradition. Police have identified a second person involved the robbery and they are in the Burleigh-Morton Detention Center awaiting formal charges.
