Sioux Falls NAACP Condemns Racist Video From South Dakota State

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls NAACP says they condemn a recent video from South Dakota State students. The chapter said the video shows individuals using racist language and making threats of violence by people who identify themselves as students at the school. Chapter President Nieema Thasing says the video, “carries with it the weight of a long and painful history of violence, intimidation and dehumanization.” Brookings Police have said they are investigating the video. The NAACP is calling on SDSU to act “swiftly, transparently, and responsibly,” with their response.
