(Vermillion, SD) — A Vermillion firefighter is recovering after being injured during a house fire call on Tom Street. One civilian was also injured. Firefighters were sent to the home around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday night and could see the fire from a mile away as they approached the location. It took about 90 minutes to extinguish the blaze. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause.
