(Helena, MT) — Authorities are releasing new details about Senator Tim Sheehy’s emergency landing in Montana last week. The FAA says the Montana Republican was flying a trainer and light fighter jet made in the Czech Republic and owned by Trump-appointed NASA administrator Jared Isaacman when he went down Friday. The FAA says the Aero Vodochody model L-39 experienced engine issues that forced Sheehy to make an emergency landing in Madison County. No injuries were reported, but officials say there was substantial damage to the aircraft.
