(Williston, ND) — A massive fire at a Williston recycling business erupted last night. Multiple crews responded to the Pallet Green Recycling plant around 8:30 p.m. where heavy smoke and flames were tearing through the plant’s yard. It was not clear if any chemical residue was released from the material on fire. Williston Fire Chief Corey Johnson says the flames were contained to the exterior of the business’s storage area and adds that crews were not concerned about the fire spreading beyond the property. Multiple crews and additional water trucks were brought in to combat the blaze due to the plant’s remote location.
