Alberta Heights Apartment Tenants Feel Impacts Of Housing Shortage

(Bismarck, ND) — Alberta Heights Apartment residents are feeling the impacts of a local housing shortage. The tenants of the apartment complex displaced by a fire last week are being asked to contact the North Dakota Lions Emergency Relief group, but the group says many of the tenants can’t afford the prices for the available dwellings. The group is set up at Storage Kings behind Memory Fireworks just north of Bismarck and regardless of financial situations, tenants are being asked to check in with volunteers. The group is providing a range of goods, along with help in finding housing. Management has told the tenants to clean out garages and turn in keys next week.
