(Minot, ND) — City of Minot officials are resuming talks with Ward County about relocating the county’s municipal court. City Assessor Ryan Kamrowski presented a review of site options for the municipal court to the city council last week, showing the current site isn’t functioning optimally in its current location. The municipal court is currently operating from the Minot Municipal Auditorium and the review shows there are significant security and safety concerns. The review showed that the best alternative would be to co-locate the municipal court to the Ward County Courthouse. Other possible sites for relocation include the Ward County Administration Building, City Hall and the police station.
