Ray Police K9 Wins National Competition

(Ray, ND) — A Ray Police Department K9 proved he’s one of the country’s top dogs. Bodhi and his handler, Ray police chief Greg Pinski, earned first place in a national narcotics detection competition held by the U.S. Police Canine Association. The event is held each year in Atlantic City. The trials tested K9s through timed narcotics detection scenarios involving vehicles and interior rooms. Bodhi earned a perfect score, making him the first K9 from North Dakota to win a first-place title at the USPCA National Trials.
