(Burleigh County, ND) — Burleigh County Commissioners have approved up to eight million dollars in revenue bonds for the University of Mary. The money will not increase taxes for Burleigh County residents, but instead come from the university. The bonds will give the university access to tax-exempt financing and lower the cost of borrowing money. The funding will help refinance older debt and support projects such as a new athletics complex, welcome center and residence hall.
