Human trafficking Summit Being Held In Bismarck

(Bismarck, ND) — The 31-Eight Project is hosting its sixth annual Human Trafficking Summit in Bismarck. It runs on both Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Mary’s Central High School. Roughly 400 people are attending the summit this year, which will emphasize online trafficking and providing resources to combat the issue. Organizers are hoping the summit will encourage lawmakers to draft legislation to protect communities throughout the country. The 31-Eight Project is a nonprofit organization with a mission of educating, advocating and serving survivors of human trafficking.
