(Harrisburg, SD) — The town of Harrisburg is celebrating the opening of Scheels Park. It’s a new sports facility located just north of Harrisburg High School. Superintendent Jennifer Lowery is calling it “a blessing” for the kids in their town. She says it was done as part of a multi-year process that saw the community raise two-million dollars to finish the construction. A spokesperson for Scheels says they are proud to partner with a great community and help the growth of youth sports.
