(Pierre, SD) — Lonna Carroll is pleading not guilty after she was accused of stealing one-point-eight million dollars from the Department of Social Services. Carroll, who worked for DSS between 2010 and 2023, is accused of taking the money from the Child Protection Services program. Bond has been set at 50-thousand dollars. A trial date of December 4th has been set in Pierre.
