(Edgemont, SD) — There’s no harm done after an Edgemont, South Dakota school went on lockdown yesterday. The lockdown happened after authorities received a call about a threat just after 9 a.m. A student had allegedly threatened to hurt a teacher and students. According to officials, the reported student had left the school and was believed to be walking home to get a weapon. Fall River County deputies found and arrested him in his home. Officials say he didn’t have any weapons, and no one was hurt. Authorities are investigating further into the situation.
