(Bismarck, ND) — Former President Theodore Roosevelt could soon be the only president inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Former Governor Doug Burgum, who’s now the U.S. Secretary of the Interior, says a formal announcement will be coming next year at the NFL draft in Washington, D.C. Roosevelt helped orchestrate a 1905 meeting between college coaches and other officials to discuss safety questions. That meeting led to safety reforms and, ultimately, the creation of the NCAA.
