(Rapid City, SD) — Work is complete on the new runway at Ellsworth Air Force Base. With the finish of the ten-month project, the base is one-step closer to being ready for the new B-21 Raiders stealth fighters. The completion also means that the B-1 Lancers can return along with airmen who had temporarily been reassigned to the Grand Forks Base.
