(Rapid City, SD) — A Rapid City man is pleading guilty to child porn charges. Alex Badura had previously pleaded not guilty to two counts in January. It’s believed that Badura used generative AI to create sexual images of two 12-year-olds that he knew. An investigation revealed hundreds of computer-generated files on his electronic devices. He is set to be sentenced on August 3rd and will be required to register as a sex offender after being released from incarceration.
