(San Antonio, TX) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are on the brink of elimination following a 126-97 loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game Five of the Western Conference Semifinals from Frost Bank Center. The Wolves were outscored in every quarter of the game. Anthony Edwards scored 20 points in the losing effort, while Julius Randle had 17 points and ten rebounds. Minnesota trails 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. Game Six is in Minneapolis on Friday.
