(Richland County, ND) — Part of Interstate 29 in Richland County was shut down on Wednesday after a commercial vehicle crash and hazardous materials spill involving diesel fuel and fertilizer.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened Wednesday morning around 8:00am, forcing the closure of northbound lanes. Authorities say diesel fuel and fertilizer spilled onto the roadway. All lanes of I-29 had reopened by midday on Wednesday.
The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured in the crash.
