FEMA Approving Relief For Hundreds Of SD Flood Victims

(Canton, SD) — Help is officially on the way for hundreds of South Dakota flood victims. FEMA says it has approved around 900 applications since hitting the ground in four counties last month. That accounts for over five-point-two million dollars in relief and counting. Areas like North Sioux City, Canton and Mitchell were some of the places hit hardest by the devastating flooding back in June. Applications are still open and can be found online on the FEMA dot gov website.
