(Sioux Falls, SD) — Governor Larry Rhoden was on-hand Wednesday for ceremonies marking the beginning of construction on a new men’s prison in Sioux Falls. In remarks at the event, Rhoden called the project the largest single public safety investment in the history of South Dakota. The 15-hundred bed facility comes at a price tag of 650-million dollars.
