(Bismarck, ND) — Six North Dakota lawmakers did not submit their financial disclosure forms by the new deadline. A new law required the filings to be submitted by January 31st. The Secretary of State’s Office confirmed on April 20th that the documents were not received but all six lawmakers have indicated they were submitting the forms soon. Two of the six are serving terms that do not expire until 2028 and the four other lawmakers are serving on expiring terms and not running for reelection. A reminder was emailed to all officials on January 22nd, reminding them to file statements of interest nine days before the deadline.
