(Rapid City, SD) — A pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle. It happened in Rapid City near the intersection of 6th and Omaha streets around 9:35 p.m. on Tuesday. Police believe the pedestrian was inebriated and it played a role in the crash. Two witnesses say the vehicle had a green light when it hit the pedestrian in the roadway. The Rapid City Police Department’s Critical Accident reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.
