(Sioux Falls, SD) — A land lease meeting for concerns on the Rosebud Reservation is set for Thursday. It comes as some people living on the land are finding their leases have been terminated while others are obtaining larger parcels. Tribal members say the issue is causing money to come out of the tribe’s accounts and going instead to make certain tribal members richer. The Tribal Residence Association says anyone who wants to attend is welcome. It is being held at 6:00 p.m. at the Tribal Council Chambers.
