(Rapid City, SD) — The Meade County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a string of overnight vehicle burglaries. More than a dozen incidents have been reported recently of suspects targeting unlocked vehicles in Black Hawk. Some victims have reported firearms being stolen while others say nothing was taken at all. Several of the vehicles had keys left inside. Officials are urging people to lock their doors, remove keys and secure firearms before leaving their vehicles unattended overnight.
