(Sioux Fall, SD) — In-person absentee voting is getting started in some South Dakota counties. Officials in Minnehaha, Lincoln, and Pennington counties have confirmed that ballots will be available at some point today. Early voting was scheduled to begin last Friday, but many counties did not get ballots in time due to a later candidate filing deadline this year. South Dakota’s primary election is scheduled for June 2nd.
