(Bismark, ND) — A Bismark man who failed to appear in court for fentanyl charges earlier this week was arrested on Tuesday. Sixty-two-year-old John Lawrence failed to appear at his two preliminary hearings and became the subject of a statewide arrest warrant. Lawrence was charged with maintaining a premises for the storage, sale or use of controlled substances after an incident in June. If convicted, Lawrence faces a maximum sentence of five years behind bars and up to a ten-thousand dollar fine. Another hearing in Lawrence’s case is set for October 22nd, according to court records.
