(Bismarck, ND) — State officials want to help employers attract workers through new relocation grants. The state’s Department of Commerce says relocation is one of the largest barriers for employees inquiring about new positions, which increases workforce shortages statewide. Employers can now receive up to five-thousand-dollars in matching funds for each eligible new hire through the relocation grants. Applications for the grant program are open until June 20th, 2027, with more details available on the state’s Department of Commerce website.
