(Keystone, SD) — About four-thousand people won the lottery for the July 3rd Mount Rushmore fireworks show. The National Parks Service says most of the applicants and winners were from South Dakota, followed by Colorado. There were more than 102-thousand requests for tickets. Winners were notified on Tuesday. The official name of the event is South Dakota’s Freedom 250 Mount Rushmore Fireworks Celebration and it starts at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 3rd.
