(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck Public Schools say they’re managing rising diesel prices without passing down costs or disruptions. While most individuals feel the rise of gas prices on their pocket books, businesses are feeling similar effects due to rising diesel prices. Triple A says the average price for a gallon of diesel is close to five-dollars a gallon, almost a dollar more than regular gas. School district officials say they’re used to managing the swings of fuel prices and due to the size of their operations, they’re well equipped to continue regular schedules. The district says they expect to use 84-thousand gallons of diesel this year.
